Description
Performance Grade Bitumen PG 70-16 is the latest bitumen standard. This is a new bitumen standard method based on variable temperatures. This method examines the mechanical characteristics of bitumen. Since the temperature range for bitumen is defined in this method, the consumer can easily choose the desired product.
Performance grade for polymer modified bitumen and pure bitumen is determined by environmental conditions and temperature. The range of PG grades is wider, higher resistance and more favorable characteristics.
applications of Performance Grade Bitumen PG 70-16
- road construction
- used in very cold areas
- spraying and crack sealing applications
- paving for both dense-graded and open-graded Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA)
