- The penetration degree of bitumen is 80/100 according to the standard in the range of 80 to 100.
- The use of penetrating bitumen is mainly in road construction.
- For areas with hotter climates, harder bitumen (lower degree of penetration) is used, and for areas with colder climates, looser bitumen (higher degree of penetration) is used.
