Description
Penetration Grade Bitumen 40/50 is a standard bitumen of the penetration grade classification (the range 40 to 50 at standard test) based on the European standard, which is suitable for road construction and hot asphalt production and is mostly used in hot areas.
The degree of bitumen penetration is 40/50 according to the standard in the range of 40 to 50. This bitumen is almost loose and is used for warmer areas.
Application of Penetration Grade Bitumen 40/50
The use of penetrating bitumen is mainly in road construction. For areas with hotter climates, harder bitumen (lower degree of penetration) is used, and for areas with colder climates, looser bitumen (higher degree of penetration) is used.
