Description
Penetration Grade Bitumen 10/20 is mainly used in hot asphalt production plants. Bitumen 10/20 ensures a longer life for the asphalt, as it allows for a thinner subgrade. In addition, it uses up to 30% less asphalt than traditional designs. 10/20 bitumen is hard penetration grade bitumen, which is referred to as paving grade bitumen. It is very suitable for road construction and road repairs.
It is a commonly used paving grade bitumen as it is suitable for road constructions and repairs and also for the production of asphalt pavements. This grade of bitumen is also mainly used in the manufacture of hot mix asphalt for bases and wearing courses.
