Description
Cutback bitumen SC-800 is a slow curing bitumen that containing 70% bitumen. This bitumen is black in color and is produced under the ASTM D 2026M-15 standard.
Cutback bitumen SC-800 consist of initial incorporation of asphalt into the surface of non-asphalt based course preparatory to any superimposed treatment of construction. The SC-800 applying to waterproofing of surfaces plug capillary voids, coat and bond loose mineral particles.
Applications of Cutback bitumen SC-800
The application of this bitumen is for factory cold asphalt – base, lining and top Retardant bitumen is prepared by dissolving pure bitumen in kerosene, which has a slower and longer evaporation rate than gasoline.
Retardant bitumens are classified into five types, whose retardance at 60 degrees Celsius varies from at least 60 to 6000 centistokes.
