Description
Cutback Bitumen RC-250 is a CUTBACK BITUMEN Rapid Curing which contains 65% bitumen. This bitumen is black in color and is produced under the ASTM D 2028M standard.
RC-250 is a type of bitumen used widely in road construction, pavement, and maintenance. It is made by mixing bitumen with petroleum-based solvents such as kerosene. This process of cutting bitumen with a solvent makes it easy to use and apply.
Applications of CUTBACK BITUMEN RC-250
The use of quick-setting soluble bitumens is mostly in the field of protective asphalts:
- One-layer surface asphalt
- Multi-layer surface asphalt
- Sealing lining with stone materials
- used in the area of pervious macadam asphalt with a lot of empty space
